Three Pu-erh Tea Aeras and Features

For the classification of Pu-erh tea production area, there is a lot of controversy in the market - the so-called three major tea areas or the distribution of the six major tea areas, the distribution of the six major tea mountains in ancient and modern times, but the differences in geographical and tea quality characteristics. In fact, most people agree that Pu-erh tea production is divided into three sections - Xishuangbanna tea area, Lincang production area and Simao tea area.
Of course, in addition to Xishuangbanna, Lincang and Simao, there are also teas in Shimonoseki and Baoshan, but the reason why they are not listed as the main producing areas is that the production, quality and market popularity are not as good as the three majors producing district.
The reason why the production of Pu-erh tea is divided into these three major producing areas, the main reason is that 90% or more of the mainstream Pu-erh tea is used in the tea production of these three tea areas. So, what are the characteristics of these three major tea areas?
First, Xishuangbanna production area tea characteristics: Xishuangbanna tea
distinction should be divided into two major sections, Menghai and Yiwu. The
high temperature and rainfall of the menghai tea area are characterized by strong
tea, strong aroma and high enthalpy. The Yiwu tea area can be said to be the
highest temperature and most rainfall in Xishuangbanna. It is rich in variety and
rich in tea. The aroma is unique. It has a low bitter taste and a sweet and sour
taste.
Second, the characteristics of tea in Simao production area:
Simao Tea District, which is now the Pu-erh City. Its modern tea garden
construction is the best in several major tea areas, with large output and bitter
taste. The most famous ones are Jingmai Mountain Ancient Tea Garden in
Jixian County, Qianjiazhai Ancient Tea Garden in Zhenlai County, and Jinggu
Dabai Tea.
Third, the characteristics of tea in Lincang production area:
Lincang production area is the most tea-producing tea area in Yunnan, and is
best known for its location in Mengku, Bangdong and Fengqing. The aroma and
taste of each real estate tea are quite different. In general, Lincang's tea has a
good aroma and a bitter taste and bitterness. The most famous varieties on the
market in these years are Iceland, Banzhang and Xigui, among which Iceland
and the past are in Lincang.
One side of the soil gives birth to a tea leaf. Different ecological environments
and climates give tea a different taste and characteristics, but only in a good
ecological environment can the quality of the tea be best, so don't forget to
protect the ecological balance when picking tea leaves. And stable.
According to the overall quality of the tea area: Banna first, Lincang second,
Simao third. This is a comprehensive overall ranking, but each tea area still has
its own very bright hills, such as the Laobanzhang seal of Banna, Iceland in
Lincang, and Jingmai of Pu-erh.
More than 95% of the Pu-erh tea in the market is extracted from these three tea
areas. From the price point of view, in the past five years, the average price of
Pu-erh tea in the market is higher than that of Lincang and Pu-erh. The price of
Lincang is higher than that of Pu-erh. It can be seen that the publishing area of
Menghai County is the area with the most tea factories, and the tea factory in
the Menghai area has greater influence on scale and products than other areas.
