Storage has become important factor of Pu-erh

Storage is an important condition for Pu-erh tea to be achieved, strictly speaking, it is even more necessary. We need to define Pu-erh tea here in a narrow sense, which means that the tea base is aged by pure dry storage for many years. Strictly speaking, this is the real Pu-erh tea, which can represent the authenticity of Pu-erh tea. Pu-erh tea is fascinating. Unlike other tea varieties, it can only make people's eyes shine. It can only be the Pu-erh referred to tea here.

Storage is also a concern for many tea friends, including how good is the storage there? What kind of storage is good? How do I store it at home? And so on. We have also consulted a lot of materials, but we have not found any specific expositions, which are quite simple and general. Although we are not talented, we dare to try and think that tea friends can explore the stones.

Storage have wet warehouse, dry warehouse, pure dry warehouse. Because we want to accelerate the aging of Pu-erh tea, there is a wet warehouse. Because of the distortion of Pu-erh tea, we have realized the distortion, loss of activity and authenticity, and we have a dry warehouse. Because Pu-erh tea can be aged quickly without being too distorted, and There are dry and wet bins. Because of the emergence of dry and wet bins, there are relatively pure dry bins. It is very conscious that storing Pu-erh tea in a pure dry warehouse is a matter of nearly ten years. Although there are a small number of vintage Pu-erh teas that are kept clean, they are accidental, and there is no evidence to prove that they are conscious. We are now conscious that Pu-erh tea with pure and dry tea bases should be unprecedented. This kind of Pu-erh tea will certainly be able to hold the ears of the tea industry in the future.

Pure dry warehouse. A "pure" is added in front of the dry warehouse. How should we define and understand it? Let's start with the word "dry", which means dry and clean. That is, the storage must meet the requirements of dryness and cleanliness. The dry side is wet, that is, the wet storage is a wet storage. The humidity is caused by two aspects, one is artificial. The other is weather. Dryness and humidity are relative, and usually there is a certain amount of moisture in the air, which is humidity. Dry storage means that the humidity cannot be greater than that which causes mildew of tea, and generally cannot be higher than 70 degrees. But this is not absolute. It depends on the packaging of the tea and the continuity of humidity. In short, mold must not be produced, because once the mold is broken, the authenticity of the tea is destroyed and the taste is affected. Therefore, the storage of tea should be equipped with temperature, hygrometer and special management. When the humidity is too high, one should be dehumidified, and the other should be moisture-proof packaging. Humidity cannot be cold and hot, nor can it exceed normal temperature. This will make the tea change sharply and lose the tea quality. Avoid direct sunlight and strong light, because light is extremely lethal and easily destroys tea quality. It is best to be dark and refreshing, but not too ventilated, so that the tea slowly ages safely, and the tea produced will be the most natural.

Clean means that there is no peculiar smell and odor. The molecular structure of tea leaves is fiber-shaped, and it is very easy to inhale odors and odors. Once inhaled, it cannot be removed. In addition to destroying the original aroma of the tea, there is also a miscellaneous odor, and the odor is inside. The original and charming tea aroma has turned into a strange smell and lost its appreciation. Therefore, once tea is attacked by odors and odors, it is equivalent to waste. There should be two aspects of the warehouse's odor and odor, one is the original one of the warehouse; The original warehouse should be cleaned up and later entered to prevent intrusion. Tea is piled up a lot, which helps the polymerization and blending of tea gas. Home-style storage is not the same as professional storage, and the tea products produced by the same tea will have certain differences.

Pure means 100 percent pure. This means that the clean and dry conditions described above have never been met, and there is no “drying” without any trace is a pure dry warehouse. Only pure dry warehouse can maintain the authenticity of Pu-erh tea and get a good drink.

Pu-erh tea storage requirements

1. Circulating air:
A: There is more oxygen in the circulating air, which is conducive to the proliferation of some microorganisms in the tea, so it can accelerate the change of the tea, but you cannot hang the Puer tea on the balcony or in direct sunlight. It is blown away and the taste of tea is blown away, and it feels bland and tasteless.
B: There should be moderate circulation of air, but it should not be placed in the air vent.
C: Be careful not to have odors in the surrounding environment, otherwise the tea will easily absorb odors and will change the odor.
D: Do not put it in the kitchen or other environment with life smell or industrial smell.

2. Constant temperature:
a: The temperature of Pu-erh tea should not be too high or too low. The temperature should be based on the local environment. There is no need to artificially create the temperature. The normal indoor temperature is fine. It is best to keep it at 20-30 degrees Celsius for many years. In the meantime, too high temperature will cause the tea to accelerate fermentation and become sour.
B: Relatively speaking, the changes of Pu-erh tea in the three seasons of spring, summer and autumn will change faster than in winter. At any time, Pu-erh tea should not be exposed to the sun. It is better to be in a cool place.

3. Moderate humidity:
A: "Now all good Pu-erh teas should be stored in a" dry warehouse ", and" dry warehouse "means to be stored in a dry environment, and not to be wet."
B: Too dry environment will slow down the aging of Pu-erh tea storage, so there must be some humidity.
C: In a relatively dry environment, a small glass of water can be placed beside the tea leaves to increase the humidity in the air slightly.
D: But too humid environment will lead to rapid change of Pu-erh tea, this change is often "mildew", making tea not drinkable.
E: The humidity should be controlled accordingly. The annual average humidity should not be higher than 75%. Due to the warm maritime climate along the coast, the humidity will be higher than 75% during the rainy season. Therefore, we should pay attention to opening windows and ventilating in time to emit water.

The best temperature for Pu-erh tea is between 20 and 45 degrees.
If the Pu-erh tea's natural enzymatic effect is lower than 20, the natural enzymatic protection of Pu-erh tea which is higher than 60 degrees will be inhibited or stopped, and the water in the tea body will be lost by high temperature drying.
In order to make the tea base in the most effective maturation state, the sun temperature between 40 and 50 degrees is the best. Too high a temperature can also easily accelerate the fermentation of tea leaves.

The golden temperature of Pu-erh tea brewing and storage

When we are soaking our feet, the water temperature of 40 is most comfortable; when we are eating, 50 food is the best for gastrointestinal health; when we get up early, a glass of warm water at 35 ~ 40 can help us soothe Intestinal tract; air conditioning on hot summer days, 26 can make our bodies better adapt to changes in indoor and outdoor temperature differences.
For Pu-erh tea, the temperature has always affected the quality of tea from growth to making, brewing, and storage.

From the perspective of consumers, growth and production will not be said. But when you buy a Pu-erh tea, how do you properly grasp the "golden" temperature to experience the most comfortable taste of this tea and properly store and collect Pu-erh tea? Let ’s explore them together.
First, how to grasp the temperature of Pu-erh tea brewing?

Pu-erh tea is best brewed with pure water, mineral water and mountain spring water. In terms of temperature, we usually brew with boiling water of 90-100 degrees Celsius. It is not necessary to repeatedly over-boil. Properly retained oxygen can make tea taste more active.

Bajiao Ting uses the "Runhuo" technology to ferment spring tea. The cooked tea produced on this basis is based on "thick soup, high fragrance, and moisturizing", and is brewed with a suitable temperature. "Rungan" and " "Activity" will also be more adequate.
To learn to taste tea, it is indispensable to taste the fragrance. Apart from the sweetness and astringency that can be felt in the taste buds, the aroma of Pu-erh tea will also behave differently at different temperatures.

Pu-erh tea generally has the strongest aroma at high temperatures, while some aromas perform best at slightly lower temperatures. Tea soup is most suitable for mouth-watering at 50 ° C. The temperature is comfortable and the Pu-erh tea evaluation will be more accurate. May wish to experience the subtle changes from daily drinking tea.
2. How does Pu-erh tea store the temperature?

Summer is approaching, and the temperature in some areas may even reach over 40 degrees, even if it is dry and protected from light. Various types of tea will behave differently in the face of high temperature. For example, the color of green tea will change, the taste of black tea will become stale, and the aroma of flower tea will be excessively emitted.
The same is true for Pu-erh, where the storage temperature is too high, the microbial reaction is strong, and the tea is easy to become acidic and spoiled. If the storage temperature is too low, it may happen that the contents of tea may be reflected slowly even if stored for several years. It's too big.

For tea friends who have a large amount of Pu-erh tea in their homes or love to collect, they must know how to save Pu-erh tea at an appropriate temperature. In general, it is not necessary to deliberately create a temperature for tea storage. At normal room temperature, it is more suitable between 20-30 ° C all year round.
Today, Pu-erh tea is all about being stored in a “dry warehouse” to create proper temperature, proper ventilation, and proper drying for the storage of Pu-erh tea, so as to get older and more fragrant.

Bajiaoting matured tea is aged in a professional dry warehouse for 1-2 years. At an appropriate temperature, the heaped flavors and odors are dispersed, ensuring that when the cooked tea products are on the market, there is no need to wait for the heaped flavors to dissipate. People can already have a comfortable taste.
