Organic tea is popular in the world

In today's tea industry, there is a saying that "Pu-erh tea is produced in Yunnan and is hidden in Hong Kong, which is more developed than Taiwan." The reporter recently visited the relevant tea companies in Pu-erh City, Yunnan and learned that the overseas market of locally produced organic Pu-erh tea is promising.

Artificial insect catching, focus on organic.
Was founded in 1996 from more than 30 acres of tea gardens, and Naturalpuerh planted tea leaves. At that time, the mainland tea market rarely saw organic tea that did not use chemical fertilizers or pesticides, but Naturalpuerh believed that health, greenness, and ecology were the major trends in tea production. "If the tea garden is only green, it still lacks charm."
In 2007, Naturalpuerh founded the Alpine Tea Garden. He did not apply any pesticides and fertilizers. It has grown to 2,000 acres and has driven more than 8,000 people in the whole bowl village and surrounding people to engage in organic tea cultivation. In order to kill pests, in addition to the standard configuration of solar vibration frequency insecticidal lamps and sticky insect plates, Naturalpuerh also raises chickens and eats insects in the tea garden, keeps spider mites to kill insects, and encourages tea farmers and employees to catch insects manually. One insect pays 0.05 yuan (RMB, the same below), only this year has paid more than 460,000 yuan for insect catching; the fertilizer used in the tea plantation is also a self-made farmhouse with sheep dung, litter and humus fermentation fat. In the construction of tea gardens, according to the technical requirements of planting 8-10 seedlings per acre of tea gardens and no less than 6 tree species, ecological transformation is carried out according to standards. The mixed planting of camphor tree, agarwood and other tree species in the tea garden can not only prevent pests and insects , It also maintains the consistent flavor characteristics of tea. The fragrance of tea is long-lasting and mild, the taste is full and sweet, and it has an elegant aroma. At that time, the organic tea produced by Naturalpuerh was more than doubled in price, and few people were interested in the mainland market. "Before 2008, it has been operating at a loss." Naturalpuerh said.

Overseas market:
Turnaround appeared in 2009. Naturalpuerh opened up foreign markets through organic food fairs such as the Nuremberg Organic Products Expo in Germany, the World Tea Expo in Poland and other international tea fairs, and exported more than 40 tons of organic tea. "I didn't expect my product to find a friend overseas and was recognized by overseas markets." Later, Naturalpuerh's organic Pu-erh tea passed the domestic OTRDC organic certification, EU organic certification, US NOP organic certification, Japan JAS organic certification, ISO9001: 2008 international quality management system certification and national industrial product production license (QS certification) and many other domestic and foreign quality certifications are favored by overseas markets. At present, Naturalpuerh's tea products are exported to Europe, the United States, Japan and other places. This year's export volume reached 170 tons, and the export volume reached 130 million yuan. The product supply is in short supply.
Naturalpuerh, who tasted the sweetness of organic Pu-erh tea, built his own production line, and the entire set of processing procedures was implemented according to the standards of pharmaceutical production. "Due to the conditions and standards of pharmaceutical production, tea products from here are based on normal prices. In addition, the price will be increased by 3 dollars per kilogram. "
"There are also Hong Kong markets, but the current volume is not large." Naturalpuerh hopes to further expand the Hong Kong market through relevant channels. "After all, Hong Kong is a vane of the global Pu-erh tea market." Naturalpuerh revealed that there will be a huge number in March and April next year Distributor teams from 40 countries visited their tea gardens.

Organic tea is safe drink

What is organic tea? Strict meaning refers to a tea that is produced and processed strictly in accordance with organic farming methods. During the production and processing of organic tea, no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, plant growth regulators, chemical food additives and other substances are used at all; the production process and products of organic tea comply with the International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements (IFOAM) standards, and Certified by relevant organizations of organic (natural) food certification, issued certificates, and continuously monitored and tested.

The rise of the concept of organic tea is not accidental, and there are many reasons.

Serious concern about health and food safety is the biggest reason for the rise of organic tea. The rise of organic tea has a lot to do with the rise of green environmental protection concepts. Agriculture is also a polluting industry, as is the tea industry. Although its pollution is very low, it cannot be ignored. Destroy the virgin forest, open up a large area of
tea on the terrace, apply a lot of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and unilaterally pursue the production capacity of tea. Not only is it far from the concept of organic tea, but it is also a non-green, non-environmental stupid behavior that kills chickens and collects eggs. When can we really see a large number of Pu-erh tea organic tea gardens interspersed with forests, trees, countless spiders and butterflies, birds and insects, we can extend the health value of Pu-erh tea to the realm of harmony between man and nature, and symbiosis with heaven and earth. Without this level, how can we ensure that our tea is organic, natural and truly healthy?

Yunnan has the natural geographical advantage and value of creating Pu-erh organic tea. Among the tea areas in the country, the natural ecological conditions of the Pu-erh tea area in Yunnan are incomparable to other tea areas. The Pu-erh tea industry in Yunnan should vigorously use this unique advantage to build organic tea and organic tea gardens as the top priority of the Yunnan tea industry. But the natural resource advantage does not equal the actual resource advantage. Just like the tobacco leaves in Yunnan, as early as 1958, the national tobacco leaf competition held in Zhengzhou got the highest score of 108 points (the full score is 100 points), but this does not equal the real advantage of Yunnan tobacco leaf resources, because this is only from Tonghai Several tobacco leaves selected by the county. A large number of smoking areas, the quality is still worrying. This trend was not until the early 1980s when Yuxi Cigarette Factory vigorously built the "first workshop" in the tobacco field, which greatly improved the level of Yunnan tobacco cultivation as a whole, and became a huge force supporting the rapid growth of Hongta Group and Yunnan Tobacco. If we also make great efforts to build the "first workshop" of the Yunnan tea area and make Yunnan tea into an organic tea area that is well-known in the country and even the world, the future of Pu-erh tea will be unlimited.

Organic tea, in the final analysis, is to return to nature, to our ancestors' greatest tradition of drinking tea. The most popular tea drinking in the Tang and Song Dynasties was not to drink but to eat, roast the tea, grind it finely, make it into powder, and cook it into soup. In this process, there is almost no tea washing. With this way of drinking tea, why do we keep looking forward to it today? Because we have gone too far in the rapids of the industrialization frenzy. Today, we need to return to the ancient tradition of drinking tea-the organic, pure natural tradition in the tide of globalization, informationization, and high technology. In this process, we cannot leave the system and technological means. On the contrary, institutions and technological means are also tools to facilitate the return (such as certification bodies, factory management, agricultural bioengineering, such as high-tech control, testing methods, etc.)

But in addition to systems and technology, we also need to face many challenges. Such as vision, such as integrity, such as a cool heart. After all, the real organic, and production capacity is a contradiction, in the short term may affect earnings. How to balance these contradictions responsibly and rationally, and realize the organicization of Pu-erh tea industry, what really tests us is our inner organic and pure natural.
